KentoHQ & the EU AI Act: transparency and human oversight

The EU AI Act sets the bar for using AI responsibly. KentoHQ is built around the same principles it asks for — not as box-ticking, but because verified, transparent, human-supervised AI is the whole product.

Transparency — you always know it's AI

KentoHQ's agents never pretend to be human. Drafts are drafts, the notetaker identifies itself when it joins a call, and Clara (the website/WhatsApp chat) answers as an assistant from curated knowledge — never impersonating a person.

Human oversight, by design

Risky actions wait for your approval, and nothing is auto-sent — emails land as drafts, ad spend stays in your hands. Every task is independently verified before it's marked done, and the full step-by-step run is logged in plain language, so a human can always see exactly what happened and why.

Not a prohibited or high-risk use

KentoHQ is general-purpose business productivity — research, writing, leads, content, code. It isn't built for the Act's prohibited practices (social scoring, manipulative profiling) or high-risk domains. You stay the controller of your data and your decisions.

Your data, where you choose

Host your workspace in the EU or the US; data is encrypted at rest, scoped to your workspace, exportable any time, and never sold. See data & privacy for the details.

This page describes our approach, not legal advice. As the Act's provisions phase in, we'll keep it current.
